Every winter, bald eagles flock to the Skagit Valley in Northern Washington to feed on salmon. I went up to shoot eagle photos in January and December of 2006. Both trips were slightly
disappointing. The eagle count was unusually high in December, 2005, but when I arrived in January of 2006, most of the eagles had departed. When I returned in December, 2006, the
eagle numbers were high... unfortunately, the eagles were keeping their distance.
