Whale Watching in the San Juans, 2010 Despite growing up in Seattle and living in the Pacific Northwest all my life, I had never been to the San Juan Islands on a whale watching expedition. Visiting friends finally gave me an excuse to go up on a tour and look for orcas. We saw a small pod of orcas, as well as porpoises, harbor seals and sea lions. Though it wasn't a great day for photography, it was a fun afternoon. Here are a few photos from the adventure. Information about photo prints and image licensing
