Here's a tilt-shift time lapse video I put together for UW athletics, depicting the Husky game day experience. With photography assistance from James Hart, I pared down over 29,000 photos into this five minute time lapse (using an estimated 3500 photos in the final cut), which depicts "game day" from the early morning arrival of tailgaters to the pregame festivities, to the game itself and the postgame celebration. Max is the lead photographer for University of Washington athletics, having covered Husky football, basketball and other sports for the UW since 2005. Prior to his role with the athletic department, Max covered Husky sports for Sports Washington Magazine and Dawgman.com. His photos have been features in Sports Washington, Columns and ESPN The Magazine.
Max is a 1999 UW graduate and lifelong Husky fan. During his time at Montlake, he showed his fanatical support for the Purple and Gold as a member of the tuba section in the Husky Marching Band.
